Martha's Table is a non-profit organization serving disadvantaged communities in Washington, D.C. Since 1980, this acclaimed charity has been providing food access, education programs, and community support to individuals and families throughout the nation's capital.
In 2017 alone, Martha's Table served over 1.95 million free meals to D.C. residents in need. Now, Martha’s Table is partnering with Dine After Dark to sponsor our roving "Iftar Car" meal service during Ramadan, serving a total of 1,550 free meals to communities in need during the holiday season!
The Yaro Collective is a multi-group network that seeks to create a community without walls, where discussions are free and open, people come as they are, and can collaborate to build better communities for all. The Yaro Collective facilitates the environment and spiritual space needed for a holistic and culturally relevant understanding of Islam, where creativity is nourished and diversity is valued.
Every Sunday during Ramadan, Dine After Dark's Iftar Car will celebrate at Yaro Collective's "Iftar on the Mall" potluck picnics on the National Mall, next to the Washington Monument!
